Can you increase AdSense Earnings simply by adding more ad units to your pages?
In previous post where I explained how I was told by Google that placing 3 ad units on every page on my web site would:-
Significantly Increase AdSense Earnings
I mentioned that I would come back and let everyone know what effect it has had.
In 2 words 'No Effect' - in fact RPM is down slightly. This dip may be at least in part to other factors, but suffice to say that if there has been a positive impact - it is minimal!
Though having said that, I still think it is worth using 3 ad units on every page *if* your pages are big enough to accommodate the extra ad unit(s) without having an ad unit sitting in the middle of nowhere with no content around it.(Most of the pages where I added the 3rd ad unit were not ideal).
