Photos-for-you.com update (Bulk renaming / deletion of Wordpress posts ec.).

After uploading more than 4,700 photos, I of course decided that a huge number of the filenames and therefore post titles were nowhere near as good as they could be.
For a start, all the post titles had'.jpg' at the end of them which I thought looked a bit silly, and I wanted to get rid of the brackets that Windows 7 had added when I renamed a lot of my files in bulk.

So, I decided to export my posts from Wordpress, do a search and replace, and import them again.

To cut a long story short - this is *NOT* the best way to do it (which I can confirm after about an hours of messing around, including 'emptying' the wp_posts table in MySQL Admin, and ending up with posts imported in a different order from which they were exported).

By far the best method of renaming posts in bulk (it seems to me) is the download the 'Search & Replace' plugin for Wordpress and use that. It works like a charm...

Just to prove it - here is one of my newly, properly named posts :-

Time taken = approx 8 hours
Total Time wasted = approx 6 hours!
