ReplyDeleteGood question - something like 40,000 visits. (the quantcast thing at top tight of this blog shows how many people visit my sites every month - the vast majority being irishviews.com).
ReplyDeleteHey, I just created an account on smugmug.com for our university graduation day and it has generated a lot of views; the quality of the pictures are not bad; since yesterday afternoon the website has had around 60.000 views..i'm thinking I could make money out of this but don't know where to host my photos, and what are the best rates etc..I would be sooo grateful if you can help me out with some insight! thaanks

ReplyDeleteGood question. I have never tried smugmug. If you are going with a custom made web site then most hosts these days give you huge amounts of space and bandwidth for very little money (I use register1.net in the UK for irishviews.com and they are very good).
But if you are looking for a site that automates the process of selling your photos online easily - then I'm not the right person to ask. Maybe some other readers of this blog could help you?
