Google are constantly playing around with things.

Here is a new image ad format for Adsense that I noticed today (forgive me if this has been around for ages and I am really 'behind the times'):-



Notice how they have removed the 'Ads By Google' text.

No doubt this will get a better click through rate...

Sold Another Photo

Earnings from photo sales this year have been pretty poor. This is probably mostly due to my disasterous 301 redirect From ages back which decimated my Google Image Search Traffic..

Well, at last I have sold another one for £50:-



And I have another very hopeful enquiry in the pipeline.

So, as I have mentioned before, your photos do not have to be technically superb, and taken with very expensive equipment to be 'sellable', so long as you get enough eyes on your photos...

Adsense Earnings - November 2009

I finally made the change from US Dollars to UK Pounds.

So, since Adsense is currently refusing to show the exact earnings in Dollars (you should be able to see it from a link on the 'reports' page), I'll have to start showing my earnings in GBP (British/UK Pounds)...

£216.30

For those of you used to US Dollars, I can tell you that is pretty much exactly what I earned the previous month (even though my traffic is up again).

You may also notice that there is an Adsense unit below this blog post, which I have not tried in a long long time, but I'll try it for one month and let you all know how I get on.
