Infolinks
I implemented Infolinks on this blog a while back as a replacement for Kontera.
It looks like it might be a wee bit better, but if you are hoping to make a decent living from 'In Text Advertising', then you will need a LOT of page views and a LOT of decent content..
Anyway, I had one small query about whether it was possible to open an advert in a new window so you didn't lose your visitor completely.
Here was their response:-
Dear Jordan,
Thank you for your question concerning opening ads in a new window.
Although this is technically possible, we don’t recommend it.
From the advertisers’ point of view, when they pay for a click, they wish the visitor to arrive at the landing page with full attention; opening in a new window reduces the attention and the chance for conversion.
From my experience, it’s important to remember that every visitor eventually leaves your website; it’s just better if he clicked on an ad instead of simply closed the browser, so you shouldn’t think of these visitors as lost, but rather as successful monetization.

Well, at least I got a polite, speedy and well considered response. (Something you will never get if you try to contact anyone at Google about Adsense...)
