Adsense Earnings = $754
High Resolution Photo Sales = 50 GBP
Project Wonderful = $1.33
Kontera = $2.71
Chitika = $1.30
Affiliate Earnings = $2.50

Total September 2008 Earnings = Approx $850

Vast majority of Adsense earnings came from http://www.irishviews.com

My Adsense 'Link Unit' near the top of every page on http://www.irishviews.com earned $139

My 'Adsense For Search' search box near the top of every page on http://www.irishviews.com earned $37

The rest of my Adsense earnings came from 336x280 'Large Rectangles' mixed in with my content.

I also started using Google Ad Manager half way through October. This allows you to have Adsense adverts open in a new window. This has given a noticeable increase in earnings, and is relatively easy to set up, so if you are using Adsense at all, I strongly advise you to start using this service.

Here is a photo I *would* have sold for 60 GBP if I had checked my emails more often! :-


The vast majority of my hi-res photo sales are to people in the UK even though they account for less than 30% of my traffic. I guess this is because the majority of my photos are of places in the UK and there is not very much competition online for decent local photos that can be used in promotional materials and calendars etc..

Chitika earnings were low as there program does not lend itself very well to the type of traffic that I get, and I only have it on a few of my pages - but it definitely does work well for some people and is worth checking out..

Kontera earnings are not exactly earth shattering - but I only use them on this blog - and it may be worth checking out for anyone who has a very 'wordy' blog..

Project Wonderful is still bringing in a small amount of money. I think it is better value for advertisers than for publishers.

Affiliate earnings this month all came from Neverblue. I only started using them a few weeks ago, but have high hopes. I got the idea to start using them from my participation in Wealthy Affiliate.

There are some fantastic resources and people at Wealthy Affiliate, of which I am only starting to scratch the surface...
